Complex and demanding
The day-to-day work of long-distance lorry drivers is tough and exhausting. They are the customer’s point of contact, help with loading, check the freight documents and, if necessary, handle all customs formalities. According to his route planning, Eddie is often on the road for several days or even weeks at a time and puts up with enormous restrictions on his private life. He represents our haulage company at all stops in a reliable, friendly and loyal manner. Eddie – you can be relied on!

Reliability meets comfort
We – Otto Haalboom Spedition – respond to the constantly growing demands of long-distance transport with the latest generation of trucks – the Actros from Mercedes Benz.
In doing so, we are focussing on extensive safety features for pedestrians and cyclists, reducing fuel consumption and offering the best possible working and driving conditions. Drive better, react better, work better, live better.
Eddie is proof of this every day. We are sure of it!

Stay strong.
Eddie is not one to hang his head. His motto is not to give up during the second shutdown and to make the best of it. To make sure we don’t miss out on anything, he is once again tirelessly on the road and leaves virtually no gaps on the shelves. Eddie – also one of our heroes!

Functioning supply chains
A successfully implemented transport network guarantees a multitude of benefits: Efficiency, cost reduction, the development of new markets and customer satisfaction. In times of pandemic, online business and real-time availability of goods, it is our job to realise these promises. It’s good when motivated and committed employees contribute to this. Eddie is one of them!

Hamburg says hello.
Eddie brings transports safely and quickly to their destination throughout Europe. He is flexible and inspires colleagues and employers not only with his helpfulness, but also time and again with his infectious warmth and his Hamburger Schnack. No matter where he happens to be. He listens.
Eddie keep up the good work!

Special trips - Europe-wide.
To ensure that your goods arrive reliably at their destination, with Eddie we rely on trained drivers with dangerous goods licences for all classes and on the technically perfect condition of our fleet, which is equipped in accordance with ADR guidelines. Our own tarpaulin semi-trailers with lifting platform round off our expertise. There are no exceptions with us.
Safe and reliable – convincing quality!

Efficient - despite the crisis.
Eddie contributes to a functioning society every day – even in times of coronavirus. He counters all restrictions and crisis-related regulations, such as closed sanitary facilities at ramps and restaurants, with his indestructible optimism. He is committed to keeping the supply chains and flow of goods running. For us. Eddie – stay healthy!

Direct contact - with pleasure.
Standing still is nothing for Eddie. When the need arises, he lends a hand. He is flexible and inspires his colleagues with his commitment. His motivation lies in the daily challenge of getting the goods entrusted to him to their destination safely and on time. He never has empty shelves. And that won’t change much in the future either. One for all – all for one.

Goods traffic - reliable.
Whether cosmetics from Cologne to Barcelona, X-ray equipment from Budapest to Hamburg, event equipment from Hamburg to Stockholm – Eddie does it all.
Every day, criss-crossing Europe for us, for society.
So that all goods are in the right place at the right time!
Flexible and reliable – convincing quality!

Lane change - safely.
Eddie moves 2.5 million tonnes a year across Europe with his truck.
Also on board: the latest technology such as a turning assistant! The efficient early warning system to protect pedestrians and cyclists. Thanks to improved aerodynamics, Eddie can also reduce fuel consumption on its routes and, thanks to the Solostar Concept, refuel itself on a cosy passenger seat.
And these are just a few of the technical details when it comes to safety and reliability in long-distance transport. We do it!
